1 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
6 c. Special K cereal
1 bag Milk Chocolate Chips
1 bag Butterscotch Chips
1-Bring sugar and Karo syrup to a full boil.
2-And peanut butter to hot mixture and stir until smooth.
3-Pour over cereal and stir until well combined.
4-Cover bottom of a buttered cookie sheet with cereal mixture. You will have to flatten it out to make it all fit.
5.Melt butterscotch and chocolate chips, pour on top.

I love these. I just made them. They turned out not so well.
I started with a corner piece, hard. Maybe a little farther in would be good, nope. Maybe a piece that was thicker, or in the middle, nope. Maybe it's because the chocolate isn't set up so it just seems hard, nope.

Ahhhhh! So, I think I cooked the "sauce" too long, because, oh yah, I ran out of peanut butter so I ran down stairs to get some, but I didn't have any, so I just used 1 cup. Oh, and also I only had 1/2 a bag of butterscotch chips left.
Could it be that following the recipe was somewhat important to the outcome? Darn.
Now I've tried so many, that even though I want to make more to get them right, I couldn't eat one if I wanted to. Double darn.
